Matt Fajkus and Dr. Barbara Brown Wilson receive the Cale McDowell Award for Innovation in Undergraduate studies for their Summer 2 signature course entitled “Skyscrapers and Polar Bears: Perspectives on Sustainable Design.” The Cale McDowell Award is a university-wide award that is handed out once per year to encourage research or innovation that improves the University of Texas at Austin core curriculum. The two were recognized by Dean of Undergraduate Studies Paul Woodruff at a luncheon on May 7, 2012.
