An ancillary building for the Wooten Park Pool, the canopy is a singular structure that collects both people and energy. The photovoltaic system on the roof of the structure collects power from solar radiation while a wood lining underneath provides a variety of surfaces for the collection of human activity.

The updated Wooten Park structures are a marked shift from the traditional gabled forms of typical parks - the PV canopy draws from this language to provide an area of shade and recreation that is both functional and befitting of its immediate context.
